Abstract: The forthcoming experiments on neutrino mass measurement using beta decay, open a new window to explore beyond standard model physics. In this talk we discuss two cases: the sterile neutrinos and large extra dimensions. We show that the forthcoming tritium beta decay experiment (KATRIN) can uniquely constrain these beyond standard model theories.
